CREATIVE TASK: create a title sequence of a coming of age film

Recreation of title sequence if a coming of age film 

For our coming age film we chose to recreate the title credits of the film LOL starring Miley Cyrus and Douglas Booth.

Comments: 

To add the title credits we used the green screen on iMovie and changed the colour and font to fit the film as best we could. The colours change through out the opening to stand out against the background , we tried to recreate this as best we could. We made the titles move around the screen so that they would distract from the action on screen.

 Improvements:

Some of our font colours don't match the ones on the original film as we filmed in a different set therefore colours that stood out on the original version of LOL didn't on ours therefore they had to be changed.
Also the font changed slight partway through the video then changes back as an improvement we could change the typography so the font is continuous throughout the video.
Some of the names appear with a red line underneath them to improve we can ensure that they are all removed to make the video look more professional.

Learning Comment:

From doing this task i learned how to embed credits into a movie using green screen which will be a useful skill when i make my own opening sequence as it will add effect and make it more professional. I've also spotted difficulties such as the red line appearing under names and now know how to remove them and have also seen the importance of the colour of the typography and how it needs to stand out against the background. I have noticed that theft should fit the genre of the film to make it more authentic and that there are millions of different fonts which could be used.
